first for John.. from Phyllis: Both doctors were in this morning and reassured John that he can escape tomorrow! YAY!!! I came home and got the last couple things done...amazing what happens when you give a girl a power drill and a few screws....the hand rail doesn't wobble any more, but the guy at Lowes did look at me kinda strange when I asked for a 6" long screw and I did not want a hex top on it, to secure that railing! Taking his clothes back with me tonight, so he will have them for morning.....praying that everything continues as good as it has been and he will be released, in morning! lol

next for Bruce... from Ida: My patient is doing very well!  We were home by 4:00 p.m. after he WALKED out of the hospital!  Who gets to do that??  Dr. said he found "old" suchers (sp?) from YEARS ago that probably were supposed to dissolve, but didn't, and then led to scar tissue around them.  No wonder he has hurt for years!  Already taking less pain med than he was.

Thanking God for the wonderful results for both JOHN and BRUCE!!  (PK)

via facebook from Phyllis:  ‎~~UPDATE: Everything is going GREAT....he hates this end of the hospital, he got kinda spoiled with his one on one care! Now you are lucky if you see your nurse once during a shift and that is only if you need meds. Well he is experiencing an irregular heart beat/rate (?) they now have him on an IV drip, after getting rid of all those lines... bummer! But this is a temporary set back and it is much better to catch it here in the hospital then to send him home and have it create an issue later at home! Just waiting for the cardiologist to stop in and get the meds situated. There maybe hope for an exit from that hospital yet this weekend!! : )

via Phyllis sent to me:  John is doing great. He is in room 202-2 in CCU at Mercy Hospital.  We can only see him every couple of hours for about 5 minutes. (from Facebook) ....this was a true answer to prayer! John surgery was to start about an hr after he was taken down to O.R. Surgery started roughly 8:30 am & finished by 11:30 am....wow 3 hrs for triple bypass! God was in control of this surgery! Just waiting for the doctor to come and talk with me, then I will be able see him..... : ) (added later)  Thank you and the church for everything.  (Phyllis)

I spoke with Norma today and she is still in quite a bit of pain from her shoulder surgery on Wednesday.  She is at home and I would ask that you continue to pray for quick healing for her.  Larry Draper came through surgery today and the news seems to be good at this time.  The doctor felt the mass in his colon was not malignant and Larry was not in a lot of pain yet late this afternoon.  Pray for continued healing for Larry as well.  John had his heart cath today and there were 3 questionable spots.  The doctor is contacting Cleveland Clinic for instructions on how they want to handle this and until that is decided no decision on the lung transplant can be made.  Pray for guidance for the doctors as they make this critical decision regarding John and continue to lift him and Phyllis up in your prayers.  thank you all....  PK
